The Karizma XMR is Hero’s first product with liquid cooling and dual-channel ABS.

Hero has finally unveiled the Karizma XMR for Rs 1,72,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi) after releasing many teasers. Motorcycle reservations are also now available. The introduction of this XMR model signals the return of the iconic Karizma brand to the Indian market after a three-year absence.

The Karizma XMR is driven by an all-new liquid-cooled 210cc single-cylinder engine that produces 25.5 hp at 9,250 rpm and 20.4 Nm at 7,250 rpm and is connected to a 6-speed gearbox with a slip and assist clutch. This new liquid-cooled engine (a first for Hero) is housed within a steel trellis frame and is supported by a telescopic fork and a preload adjustable monoshock.

A 300mm disc up front and a 230mm rotor at the back handle braking duties, and the Karizma XMR is also the first Hero motorcycle to include dual-channel ABS.

The Karizma XMR is a feature-rich bike featuring a segment-first movable windscreen, an LCD dash with Bluetooth connectivity for turn-by-turn navigation, and a complex layered fairing design. The XMR comes equipped with all-LED illumination in three colors: yellow, red, and matte black.

The Hero Karizma XMR is priced at Rs 1,72,900 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and competes with the Yamaha R15 V4 (Rs 1.82 lakh-Rs 1.95 lakh), Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 (Rs 1.81 lakh-Rs 2.05 lakh), Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 (Rs 1.72 lakh), and KTM RC 200 (Rs 2.18 lakh). Prices will be raised to Rs 1,82,900 after the promotional period ends.
